Long-lasting rainy night road markings -RI 1.7 refractive index glass beads


Due to the shortcomings of poor wear resistance of the aggregate rainy night beads, after road tests, the use of RI 1.7 refractive index glass beads (premixed + drop on) can achieve a high performance in continuous rainfall condition.


Temporary rainy night reflective line


Temporary rainy night markings——use AW element glass beads (ceramic glass beads)as the surface to achieve the initial dry, wet, continuous rain reflection function (this kind of glass beads can only be drop on the surface of the marking line, providing short-term continuous rainfall retro-reflective function).


Long-lasting rainy night markings use high refractive index glass beads as internal mixing and drop-on to achieve the initial and after a period of dry, wet, continuous rainfall reflective function for road markings. This kind of road marking line not only guarantees the retro-reflective data under dry, wet, and continuous rainfall in the initial state, but also guarantees the retro-reflective data under dry, wet, and continuous rainfall during the use period after 2 years).

The markings are there, and the retro-reflectivity is there.

The thermoplastic type rainy night continuous reflective road marking line construction should adopt the glass bead double dispenser drop on process, the total amount of glass beads drop on the surface is≥500 g/㎡, the front is sprayed with 0.85-1.7 mm(RI 1.7)refractive index, and the following is sprayed with 0.425-1.4 mm(RI 1.7) and HR glass beads, RI 1.7 refractive index glass beads gradation and C-HR glass beads gradation are shown in Table 2 and Table 3.
