Methyl methacrylate (MMA) is a kind of durable two-component marking paint. It has a very long lift time compared with thermoplastic paint. Special formulation and good construction can make the road marking last up to 3-6 years. Generally, there are 2 application ratio: 1:1 and 98:2, the application equipment can be spray and screed.

The curing time can be adjusted to 30±10min, if the temperature is higher like 35℃, the curing time can be even shorten to 10-15min, so the road closure time can be reduced.

What is the essential difference between MMA paint and thermoplastic pain?

Thermoplastic paint is physical bond with concrete and asphalt substrates, but MMA paint is chemical bond with the substrates, it’s more strong bonding and long-lasting paint.
